Hi, I am Maryke Venter.

I am a mommy, a wife and a lover of the beauty of life. Nature in general, golden sunsets with dramatic clouds, feel good movies, anything creative and down to earth people inspire me. I absolutely fell in love with photography because it tells a story and grips your emotions and makes you a part of other people's lives in the most intimate way. I always feel honoured to be allowed into people's most special moments in their lives and I honour that people choose me to freeze moments in time for them to remember.

I have too many favourite things to share, so I'll only name a few. Kind people, funny things kids say, the smell of rain, the sound of thunder, tasty food, the sun in winter time, hot chocolate, travel and visiting with friends and mountains covered in green grass. OH and did I mention PIZZA!?
